With the appointment of Cecil Ryan as Rector of the Loyola Jesuit Community in 1969 there was now a definite separation of the offices of the Rector of the college from that of the high school and that of the Jesuit Community. p46
In 1972, J. Aloysius Graham, S.J. became Chair of the Loyola High School Trustees, a position he held for three years. John M. Belair, S.J. succeeded Graham as Chair of the Loyola High School Trustees, a position he held for five years. In 1980 Eric Maclean, S.J. became the first President of the school. p 47
