Title

Principals of Loyola High School 1945 -

Description

The office of Dean of Studies (sometimes called Prefect of Studies) embraced the academic programs of both the high school and the college until 1945. With the enrolment increasing to over 560 students in the high school along with the college’s academic program to assist returning veterans, the work-load of the Dean had been added to substantially. As a result in 1945 the office of Dean of Studies was separated into two offices, Dean of Studies of Loyola College; Principal of Loyola High School.
