Description

Rear of the Refectory Building. Excavation for the new buildings, Refectory Building, Junior Building and Administration Building, of Loyola College at the west end of Sherbrooke St. began on September 23, 1913, and three months later all the concrete work of the foundations had been completed. The superstructures were not started until June of 1914. When war broke out all plans were disrupted. Construction work went ahead but at a slower, reduced pace.
